Cell Phones at School-MRS

We live in a world where technology becomes life. It's always there. Why are schools trying to get rid of it? They will never escape it.

Cell phones are banded from all school in Ontario. Teachers think that students will concentrate better without them. They think that students are constantly texting on their phones. The weird thing is that all teachers all allowed to keep their phones with them at all times. They even stop a class to answer their phones. Then why aren't students allowed to just keep them with them.

I agree that students and teachers shouldn't be allowed to answer their phones in class, but they should be allowed to keep it with them on silent. Then, they would know if someone called them and they could call them after class. Maybe it would have been something very important.

Cell phones should be allowed to be used during lunch. Lunch is a time to share fun events, run, laugh, eat, find your friends and make more. First of all many teenagers have trouble finding their friends during lunch time in an overly crowed school. For practicality, they simply call their friends to see where they are. James Foster, age 17, said “I use my phone to find my friends at school. During class people often text one another to cheat on test and spread gossip though.” In order to get rid of this, we will make sure that each class room has multiple cameras. This will not only ensure the safety of good education, but it will also ensure maximum safety to every type of bulling. School will be a much safer place.

This concludes the war between schools and technology. Now, we have both and a much safer environment.

Phony Phones-by CD.. 08/12/08

Large electronics and phone industries have been coming up with some new phones such as the famous company Apple. Most of Apple's phones sell at about the minimum of $249 to the maximum of $499 plus tax and plan fee. When the I-phone just came out in 2007, a lot of phone lovers camped out days after days outside Apple stores just to get their hands on the new phone; but is it really a good deal to pay that much? For some consumers are disappointed.

The I-phone may have internet, but it is said to be quite slow. It is not slim enough for most people and is considered too bulky. The internet connection is not really strong unless you use your own connection from home which makes it less usable in other people's protected connection.

Despite this, the I-Phone is still a fun phone that takes cell phones to a new level, adding touch screen games and an electronic keyboard.

There is probably a wide range of cell phone services in your neighborhoud like Rogers, Telus and Bell. These compagnies associate with other phone mobile companies such as LG, Motorola, Apple, Blackberries and more. Every month, they come up with new phones every year.

Yet, are these phones really worth the excitment for? Sure they are new and wonderful but if you ever compare them all, they are almost the same. Ever since the I-phone has launched for consumers, other companies are building models that used Rogers Music Store, GPS, email, internet and games, such as Telus' LG Dare that has a touch screen and virtual keyboard, the Palm Pilot, and some Samsung mobiles.

They are all the same basicly, the only difference is the style and how it looks. Would it be easier if compagnies just develop their own unique style rather thatn having all phone compagnies copying each other?
