Does the wheel look like it's moving? Does it seem to be moving any ways you want it too? If you think the answer to it is bcause it's animated, think again! It is all in your head. You can also change the "rotating" direction, can you figure out how? Scroll down below the picture to find out why.
You can choose which way the wheel is rotating just by moving your eyes. If you look to the right side, it rotates to the right. If you look to the left, it rotates to the left! This image is made up of two pictures of the circle. The first picture is the wheel at 0 degrees, the second picture is the same thing just at 10 degrees. You could say the wheel is just changing from 0, 10, 0, 10 endlessly making it look like it's rotating!
For this one, all you have to do, is focus on the cross in the middle. Notice the moving dot on the outside turning green? Yet if you focus on the pink dot instead of the cross, the flashing dot will not turn green. Pretty cool!

Right now, all you see is this X and O. Now cover your LEFT eye. Now SLOWLY move to the screen focusing on the X not the O! Once you are at least six inches from the computer screen, you will notice the O has dissapered! Each person has a different blind spot so test your friends!
Focus on the X!

There once was a dragon,
Who liked to eat pie.
He was always very lonely,
So he gave a great big sigh.

He got tired of being lonely,
So he went on his way,
To find some new friends,
That wouldn't shy away.
There once was a dragon, Who liked to eat pie. He was always very lonely, So he gave a great big sigh. As he went around town, Walking and moping, He couldn't understand, Why he just kept hoping.

There once was a dragon,
Who liked to eat pie.
He was always very lonely,
So he gave a great big sigh.
To the top: Fun stuff!
Opening my eyes, I saw that nothing looked familiar. There were white walls all around me, and frankly, they weren’t even what I would call “normal” walls. They had tiles all over them. Including the roof. Looking around, I saw that I was the only person in this room. When I tried to get up, I realized that I couldn’t. My feet and hands were both chained to the floor. Where was I and why was I here? Trying to swallow the huge lump that came up in my throat (the lump that always appeared before I was going to cry); I quickly scanned through the events that had happened this past week. It wasn’t the most normal week, but I didn’t do anything that would have actually led me here. Where ever “here” was.
The door slammed open, awakening me from my brief slumber. Did I dose off? I didn’t really remember. After being unchained, I fell asleep with exhaustion. These 2 ladies wearing nurse’s outfits walked in, followed by a man that looked like a doctor, and my parents. The nurses got me to my feet, and led me out the door. I could hear their anxious whispers while they chatted to the doctor, but I couldn’t hear what they were really talking about.
The nurses led me up the stairs, and into what I noticed as a hospital. By the signs by the door, I knew that it was the big hospital in Virginia- the one for the really ill patients. But, the thing was, I wasn’t ill. In fact, I was really healthy. What was going on?
The nurses led me into a light blue room that resembled like an actual hospital room. For a brief moment, my heart relaxed. Until the nurses led me through the room, to the back. There, there was a chair with all these magnets around it. The first nurse shoved me into the chair, and I could feel my vision starting to blur.
I was floating, and could hear Britney Spears “Oops I did it again” playing in the background. There was a brief flash of light, and I could hear somebody screaming really loudly. In fact, it sounded like the person was right beside me.
OH. The person was right beside me. My mother, to be exact. Apparently, I was awake, and she was screaming my name.
My name is Alexandra Gram, and frankly, that’s all I know about myself. During the surgery, the doctors operated on the wrong side of my brain. They erased my memory completely, and couldn’t figure out how to retrieve it. I had to build my motor skills all up from scratch. I was the 14 year old baby.
5 weeks after my operation, I had to begin tutoring. I couldn’t go back to school. Grade 10 would have been difficult when I was just trying to learn my ABC’s. The doctors all apologized profusely, but when your daughter has lost her memory, people don’t tend to be very forgiving.
It is now 3 years after that frightful operation, and I am doing work of 7th grader- lots of progress for me...or so the doctors say.
One day, while doing my homework, my head started aching, like there was someone inside drilling a hole inside. I started screaming, and had to be taken to the hospital. The same doctors did and MRI discovered something he size of a base ball near the base of my brain.
“Mrs. and Mr. Gram. We are sorry to tell you that your daughter has brain tumour, and won’t be able to survive.”
My parents were crying, and terribly upset. Well, it has been 4 weeks since that announcement, and I am still here. A miracle some might say, but for me, it’s just life. You have to live it, no matter what obstacles come your way.
Every single day, I had to struggle to get by. To even say hello was a difficult thing for me. All of that changed when I was invited to see what happened wrong inside my brain. I had to travel from LA to Paris, and meet Dr. Francois Leloir. He showed me what happened. That day changed my life for the better.
I set out to help save lives, just as this doctor did mine. Though in the process, I almost lost numerous ones. I was known as the Saviour, or the Destroyer. Any name didn’t stop me from what I had to do.

“...They follow me. Their eyes haunting and the blacks of their pupils bear into mine. One thing is for sure...they will never leave my sight. Awake or asleep.”
The psychiatrist, Dr. Jones, looked at me with concern. He did not seem to believe what I was talking about. This was, if my counting skills are still intact, the 18th shrink this month. 18, because all the others were no help. I guess it may help that my parents own Hawaii, Bermuda, and Mexico, but I don’t think they really want to spend $4000.00 an hour for my “therapeutic sessions”.
Sighing, I put down the check addressed to Doctor Michael Jones, and walked out, making sure to slam the door 10 times harder than I usually would. Walking out, my blue-green eyes scanned the room to find my mother. Not seeing her, I slumped down on the plush chairs that cluttered the office- giving it the sense of being “homey” and “welcoming”, unlike the doctor sitting behind the maroon desk.
As I put in my iPod earphones in my ears, somebody dropped a piece of paper in my lap. I blasted the volume to “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz. “Circus” by Britney Spears interrupted Jason’s voice, and I fumbled through my purse for my cell phone. Seeing that it was a text message, I flipped open the display to see what it said. “Look @ the paper in ur lap.”
Okaayy...I opened the paper and saw a phone number. I guess that an alarm bell should have gone off in my head, but I guess I was too depressed to notice the warning. So, I picked up my phone and dialled the number. A husky girl’s voice picked up the phone and asked for the password. Opening the fold of paper once again, I saw that there was a word scribbled in the right hand corner- barely legible. I muttered the word to the girl, and heard her type it into the computer. Then her voice cleared up.
“Do you see a man with a New York Rangers hockey jersey on? Don’t answer. Just walk past the man while talking to me, and lift your right hand’s index finger up. Just the first finger. Then go into the girls’ washroom. The last stall should have some graffiti on it. Underneath, scrawled in “pencil”, there should be two words. Repeat them to me at the very end of this phone call. Only at the very end. I don’t want to hear your voice during this entire phone call- unless I tell you to speak. Once you have seen the words, press your palm to the “pencil”. The graphite will leave the words on your hand, but will come off when you wash your hands with tomato paste. Without tomato paste, it will not come off.”
My head was swarming with questions. Who was this girl, and why was she giving me so many directions? Intrigued, I followed them all. Over the intercom in the office, I heard my name be announced. Jogging, I reached the front desk, where the secretary handed me a note saying that my mother couldn’t pick me up, and that she would meet me at home at 8:00PM.
“Are you there? At the count of three, I want you to type the two words on your palm into your phone.”
Shaking, my fingers waited for her to say the number 3.
“1...2...3”
Trembling, they typed in N-O-B-O-U-N-D-R-I-E-S.
The girl’s voice came on again. “Good, you didn’t chicken out. Well, before you commit to working for us, I will tell you the pay, and the expectations.”
Three weeks later, I was still in the “force”. Hooked on, not able to quit. I guess I loved the adrenaline rush- but the major reason was because the nightmares were gone. The eyes dulled, and the voices muted. It was an escape.
Sulking through a dark alley, my eyes were struggling to adjust to the darkness. Checking my cell phone display, I saw that I missed 4 calls from my parents. Sighing, I decided to answer the calls. I mean, I had to do it sooner or later.
“Mom?”
“KENDELL?!”
“Hello, Mother...why are you yelling?”
“Well, I haven’t talked to you for 2 weeks, and haven’t seen you in 3 weeks. Why won’t you answer my calls? Sweetie, I’ve missed you.”
“Mom. Okay... Well, I told you that I had a new job, and that it comes with a high travel frequency, right? Well, at the moment, I’m in the middle of one of these jobs. And I thought I should check in.”
As I was speaking, my eyes darted around the alley. There was a shadow that did not look like the rest of the garbage cans’.
“Mom. I have to go.”
I flipped my cell phone shut, darted to the 2nd floor balcony, and knocked on the door. It opened a slight fraction, and I slipped in. Sighing, I slipped off my shoes, and lied on the bed. I was finally home...wet, cold, and tired, but home.
Since I joined the “force”, I moved and started living in a 4000 SF condo. One issue though...I couldn’t use the front door after sunset. Instead, I had to enter through the alley. But, hey! I wasn’t complaining...if I could live in a home like that, free of charge, I would go through the chimney if I had too.
The balcony door creaked open, Jessika, my roommate and partner in crime walked in. She too was tired, but a smile stretched across her face when she brought a bag from behind her back. It was sugar. Chocolate, toffee, nougat..Mmm...Ever since we joined, they (the Boss) banned sweets. But, we had our ways of receiving them. I had a friend down at the general store who always sent some for us.
The Boss had too many rules, but with the pay we were receiving, we followed them. The girl with the husky voice was none other than Jessika. That’s how we got aired up. The expectations were quite ridiculous as well. I had to be expected to be less than 140 pounds at all times. Also, I had to be brunette, which meant kissing my blond locks good-bye. Though, for me the most horrible “expectation” was ‘Number 45’. It wasn’t really an expectation, it was the job.
The purpose of our association was to take from the rich, and give to the Boss. Almost Robin Hood like. Jessika and I got jobs at the largest bank in the city, and while we were swiping the customers bank cards, we would secretly scan their id- so we would get all of their personal information. We could impersonate the person if we wanted. In fact, that was what I was doing when I talked to my mom. It was basically identity theft.
Yes, we know that it is wrong, but when we go under cover as the people, we always donate to charities. The rich get even more publicity and we get the satisfaction of knowing that some charity got some money. Some...I won’t lie- we do take some for the Boss.
Today, I was on the clock. There was a very important man coming to the bank...and I had to steal his id. Honestly, I was very nervous. My whole job depended on this
During the whole scanning process, one of his men came and grabbed me. They took me to the back of his van, and started questioning me about the Boss. They threatened to make things happen to my parents. Panicked, I told the truth. That I didn’t know who the Boss was. Did they believe me?
